Moleskine Pen+ Ellipse Smart Pen
The Moleskine Pen+ Ellipse Smart Pen is a cueing/memory aid. This smartpen allows an individual to electronically record written and verbal information while taking notes during meetings or other activities. This pen uses a small camera to capture each pen stroke on specially coded paper, which can then be transferred via Bluetooth to the user’s device via the companion app. Recorded audio may be synced with the user’s notes using the companion app, which is both Android and iOS compatible. Notes recorded in the Moleskine companion app can be converted to text and forwarded to applications including email or Dropbox. The pen features 100 MB of storage space and a battery life that allows for three hours of usage time. Individuals who have a cognitive limitation causing difficulties in organization, memory and recall, and are required to perform duties at various locations, may benefit from this device.
